Overview[]

Arcane Lineage uses a turn-based fighting system. Skills are the different abilities used in game. Active skills are skills that you use in battle and some will require an active mini game to be used. Active skills almost always require a certain amount of energy to use and usually have a cooldown period after use. Passive skills are skills that work passively in the background and can affect gameplay both in and out of combat. Skills can be acquired through class progression, leveling up (skills acquired vary depending on race), completing certain quests, or using scrolls (some skills learned from scrolls are class exclusive and will only work in battle if you are the necessary class).


Strike Skill[]

Description: The basic starting skill, given to all players when they spawn in. It is a single-attack skill that does ~5 damage and scales based on your strength stat.

Class Skills are skills that you can acquire through progressing your Class.

Active Skills are skills that you can use during your turn in battle.

Passive Skills are skills that provide a passive buff to your character.

Scroll Skills[]

Skills acquired by using scrolls. Scrolls can only be used once a base class is chosen. If you use a scroll that cant be used by your class it will be consumed, but the skill will not be learnt.

  • Physical/Magical -> 35% of damage dealt is added as extra damage to the current enemy.
  • Fire -> 15% of damage dealt is added as extra fire damage to the current enemy. Inflicts 10 Flame.
  • Holy -> Grants 1 Resist to all party members and heals them for 10% of their max HP.
  • Ice -> Inflicts 6 Frost on all enemies and reduces their defense by 5% for 4 turns
  • Poison -> Inflicts 20 Poison and applies 2 Weaken to all enemies.
  • Hex -> Applies 1 Hex and deals 100 true damage to the current enemy.
  • Dark -> applies 3 vulnerable and 3 weakened and disables dodging for mobs for 4 turns
  • Nature -> Triggers Restructure (Daminos Active) for the entire party and fully removes one random negative status from each party member.

Exclusive to Thief and Martial artist classes only

Wind Reflect BUFF N/A 2 12 apply a shield on an ally or yourself and they Dodge physical attacks and don't take damage or effects. Exclusive to Mage and Slayer classes only.
