Overview[]
Soul points are an in-game currency that is used for various buffs, such as extra damage, bonus stats, and extra essence gain, among others. You can spend these at “???” in the Spirit Domain. The only way to reset your invested points is through usage of Soul Dust.
Obtaining Soul Points[]
Soul Points can be obtained a number of ways. Some are repeatable, and some can only be done once.
- Obtaining a Super Class - 1 Point (Repeatable, must be a Super Class you have not yet obtained on the given slot)
- Obtaining an Ultra Class - 1 Point (Although it is repeatable it is not possible to obtain an Ultra Class at this current time)
- Obtaining your first Enchant - 1 Point
- Obtaining your first Base Class - 1 Point
- Obtaining your first Super Class - 2 Points
- Killing each Boss for the first time - 3 Points(excluding king slime)
- Equipping your first Artifact - 2 Points
- Completing your first covenant halfway - 2 Points
- Completing your first covenant fully - 3 Points
- Getting your first Super on any difficulty - 2 points
- Getting your first Ultra on any difficulty - 3 points
- Getting your first Super on Hard difficulty - 2 Points
- Getting your first Ultra on Hard difficulty - 2 Points
- Getting your first Super on Legendary difficulty - 2 Points
- Getting your first Ultra on Legendary difficulty - 2 Points
- Obtaining your first Mark - 4 Points
- Completing the Metrom's Vessel raid - N/A Points (chance to get 1 point every run)
Soul tree[]
The soul tree is probably the most important thing to complete in order to be hired for higher requirement bosses, as it gives you plenty of stat advantages. Below is a link to each Path and what it does.
Path of Destruction[]
This Path specializes in damage, giving increases to critical chance & damage, Strength & Arcane stats, buffing specific elements, and more. It's highly recommended for any DPS build.
Path of Empowerment[]
This Path specializes in defense, giving increases to health, regeneration, and reducing damage taken. It's highly recommended for any build, but especially Tank builds.
Path of Sundry[]
This Path specializes in progression speed, giving increases to essence gain, sell price, luck, and more. It's highly recommended to max, or nearly max this path first, as it greatly speeds up the grind for the remaining Soul Points to be invested in your other trees.
