Description[]
Stats are the measure for how powerful your character is. You can level up your stats upon mediating on a mat and talking to Aretim. After giving Aretim the necessary essence, you obtain 5 stat points which you can spend on upgrading your stats. All stats also increase by 1 every 5 levels, for a total of +8 in every stat.
Different Races start with different base stats. These usually line up with where they want to specialize - Corvolus starts with high Arcane and low Strength, and are generally best on Magic builds. Meanwhile Inferion, which generally does better on Physical builds starts with high Strength and low Arcane. Note that these don't necessarily mean you can't go for a different main stat, or that it won't be better to scale a different stat. it's just where the race was "intended" to excel at by the developers.
There are 5 base stats: Strength, Arcane, Endurance, Speed, and Luck.
Stats can be reset using a Memory Fragment.
Strength[]
Increases the amount of damage you do from physical attacks by 1.32% .(scales down as you add more its around 1.71 at 1 and 0.8 at 160)
A necessary stat for DPS builds scaled from strength, but useless for any other builds as it provides no benefit outside of physical damage.
Arcane[]
Increases the damage of magical and ranged attacks by 1.32% .(they just scale down as you add more its around 1.71 at 1 and 0.8 at 160)
A necessary stat for DPS builds scaled from arcane, but useless for any other builds as it provides no benefit outside of magical damage.
Endurance[]
Increases the amount of HP you have by 1.5 per stat point. Somewhat indirectly increases healing received as you will receive more healing the more health you have.
A necessity for Tank builds, with many only putting points into Endurance. Most builds try and put as little as possible into Endurance, but with the balance changes that came with Dark and Light, it's more difficult to have a build with 0 points put into Endurance.
Speed[]
Each point of speed slightly increases your dodge & block bar bars (approximately 2.5% higher block & 1.6% higher dodge), as well as slightly increasing your running speed in the overworld.
For every 100 points of speed, QTEs lose 1 button.
and all super classes reduce QTE difficulty by 20% or more after obtainment
At high enough Speed, you will be able to block certain moves that are normally unblockable, and same with dodging.
Most builds don't benefit from speed, however Ranger and Lancer do have speed scaling on their attacks. As well, any slot with the Stultus race will scale Crit similar to the Luck stat when building Speed.
Luck[]
Luck is a stat which has several effects depending on how much you invest into it.
Each point - Increases crit chance by 0.2% (Note, diminishing returns as of Dark and Light)
Every two points - Increases crit damage by 0.02x
Each point of luck also increases your drop loot quality and your essence gain. Specifics aren't yet known, yet at maximum luck you will only drop Pure shards from normal fights.
